CBSE Orientation Programs on Entrance Exams and Career Pathways for Principals & Counselors
CBSE issued circular number CBSE/M&PR/Counseling/2025 on 4 June 2025. The circular shares important information for principals and counselors of all CBSE schools.
The board will organize awareness and guidance programs for CBSE principals. These Orientation Programs on Entrance Exams and Career Pathways will focus on entrance exams and career options.
Students need to know about higher education, scholarships, and career options. The board wants principals and counselors to help students make smart choices. The National Education Policy 2020 says schools should have strong career guidance for every student.
CBSE will hold career awareness programs in five cities. These Orientation sessions will take place in Guwahati, Bengaluru, Varanasi, Dehradun, and Udaipur. The career awareness programs run from 10 am to 2 pm. All registered participants should arrive by 9:30 am.
Principals and counselors can register using the links for their cities. Seats are limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis. Selected participants will get confirmation emails. Travel and stay costs are the responsibility of participants.

Counselors will learn new tools and information during training. They will get details on internships vocational training and scholarships. This CBSE Career Awareness Program supports career counseling as per the National Education Policy 2020. It will increase student awareness about education and job options.
